RSSDI Rural Outreach Program Digitization

Diabetes Device Market Development

Deploy digital tools for scaling reach and impact of RSSDI Rural Outreach Program

The RSSDI Rural Outreach Program (RROP) initiative of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India, is a structured, multi-year effort to improve diabetes detection, care management, complication screening and continuous follow-up to reduce the burden of diabetes and its complications in underserved communities across rural India.

In a structured process supported by RSSDI leadership, RSSDI-KCDD has led selection a platform for RROP Digitization in alignment with the requirements of RROP. RROP Digitization enables systematic capture of clinical, demographic, and follow-up data across multiple rural RROP sites. It supports patient screening by field worker, systematic clinical decision-making and care by diabetologist, and monitoring by state and national level program managers. The platform empowers care providers with actionable insights while creating a strong data ecosystem for research and public health planning.
