RSSDI-KCDD participated in DTech 2026, one of India's leading conferences on digital diabetes care and AI in healthcare. At the RSSDI-KCDD booth, we shared key initiatives including the RSSDI CMS Empanelment Initiative, a mobile app for parents with children having T1DM, and GenAI patient education videos for self-management of diabetes, etc. Three RSSDI-empanelled CMS vendors-EkaCare, HealthPlix, and OneGlance-also showcased their diabetes-focused digital solutions. The event provided an excellent platform to engage with the digital health community in diabetology and reinforce RSSDI's commitment to accelerating digital adoption in diabetes care across India.

At the RSSDI Research Retreat 2026 in Guwahati, RSSDI-KCDD facilitated a session on "Digital Personal Data Protection Rules (DPDPR): Practical Steps for Compliance in Diabetes Clinics." Led by cybersecurity expert Ms. Krishna Veni Pandelapalli (PwC), the session provided practical guidance on data privacy, patient rights, and compliance for diabetes practices. RSSDI-KCDD also showcased its key digital health initiatives at its booth.

RSSDI Technology Survey 2024

With responses from 350+ members, the technology survey highlighted a low adoption of digital tools. Findings indicated that less than 40% of members use Clinic Management Systems and less than 10% use telemedicine. On the positive side, the survey also revealed a strong interest in adopting digital solutions among the diabetologists. Members expressed interest in areas like CGM integration, selection of patient apps, and clinic decision support systems.
