17 September 2025, New Delhi A pioneering Standard for Diabetes Care and Management was launched by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) at the NABH Patient Safety Conference 2025. RSSDI is proud to have supported NABH in the development of these standards.

The retreat provided a dynamic platform for scientific exchange, mentorship, and collaboration aimed at strengthening the research ecosystem in diabetes health.

RSSDI Technology Survey 2024

With responses from 350+ members, the technology survey highlighted a low adoption of digital tools. Findings indicated that less than 40% of members use Clinic Management Systems and less than 10% use telemedicine. On the positive side, the survey also revealed a strong interest in adopting digital solutions among the diabetologists. Members expressed interest in areas like CGM integration, selection of patient apps, and clinic decision support systems.

The 52nd Annual RSSDI Conference (Nov 14–17, New Delhi) focused on advancing diabetes care through research, clinical standards, and digital innovation. A landmark MoU between RSSDI and NABH was signed to enhance quality and consistency in diabetes care. The Koita Centre for Digital Diabetology (KCDD)-RSSDI showcased the initiatives, presented insights from the RSSDI Tech Survey 2024, and led sessions on accreditation, digital tools, and data integration.
