About KCDD - RSSDI

The Koita Centre for Digital Diabetology (KCDD) - RSSDI is a pioneering initiative by Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) supported by Koita Foundation. Established in April 2024, KCDD - RSSDI is India’s first dedicated centre focused on transforming diabetes care through digital innovation. The vision of the centre is to leverage digital technologies to meaningfully improve diabetes management and drive diabetes research and innovation in India.

Centre strives to enhance quality, accessibility, and efficiency of diabetes management by integrating advanced digital technologies across the patient care journey, from prevention, screening and diagnosis to treatment, monitoring and care at home. The centre envisions to bridge the gap between clinical practice and technology, bringing together clinicians and technologists to co-create scalable and sustainable digital solutions.

To achieve this vision, KCDD-RSSDI plans to work across multiple digital health focus areas that collectively aim to enhance the quality of care, improve access, and build a future-ready diabetes ecosystem.
