Diabetes Awareness Portal and App

DiSPEL (Digital Solutions for Patient Education & Literacy) is a collaborative national initiative is facilitated by Koita Foundation and led by the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) for diabetes and National Cancer Grid (NCG) for cancer. Through DiSPEL, we intend to demonstrate a high-quality pilot on use of Digital & AI technologies for effective patient engagement through clinically vetted, multilingual, hyperlocal multimedia content.

This initiative aims to create content that is:

  • Multilingual: Multilingual, easy-to-understand guides, videos, and infographics tailored for diverse populations and care givers.
  • Medically Approved: Developed and approved by RSSDI member clinicians/diabetologists.
  • Hyperlocal: Content which is appropriate to local cultural, environmental, and lifestyles relevant to population in India.
